For laboratories and programmes
Who does what, who can see what, and what the system deliberately will not show.
The roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Assessor | Capture answers, write observations and attach evidence. Cannot close an audit, including their own. |
| Reviewer | Read audits within their scope and review findings. |
| National focal point | Plan audits, assemble teams, and close audits with a recorded sign-off within their country. |
| Administrator | Manage users and reference data, and close audits. |
| Observer | Read only. Cannot change anything. |
The separation between capturing and closing is not a setting. An assessor cannot close an audit even by working entirely offline and syncing at the end — the server applies the same check to an audit it is seeing for the first time.
Scope — who sees what
Every person is attached to a scope, and sees only what falls inside it. A national user sees their own country's laboratories and audits, and not another country's. A regional or continental view aggregates without exposing the individual results underneath it to people who should not see them.
Scope is applied by the server on every request, not by hiding menu items. A user cannot reach another country's audit by guessing its address.
Getting started
- Accounts are created for you. There is no public sign-up. An administrator or national focal point creates the account and the system sends an invitation.
- Install the app on the device that will be used in the laboratory — see Get the app. Install before you travel, not on arrival.
- Sign in once, with a connection. After that the device holds what it needs and can work with no network at all.
- Audit. Answers are saved on the device as you go.
- Sync when you have a signal. Open the sync screen and confirm everything has been sent before the device leaves the team.
